Cancellation & Refunds

Two different things can be canceled: an appointment booked with a business, and an OnMyBooks subscription. This page covers both.

Canceling or rescheduling an appointment

Every confirmation includes a private manage link. Open it and choose Reschedule to pick a new open time, or Cancel to release the slot. No account is required.

  • Changes take effect immediately and free the time for other customers.
  • The business you booked with sets its own notice window and any late-cancellation or no-show terms.
  • If you have lost your link, contact the business directly and they can look up your booking.

Deposits

Where a business records a deposit against a booking, that deposit is currently settled in person with the business. Online card payments are not enabled yet, so OnMyBooks does not hold, charge or refund customer money. Refund decisions on deposits are made by the business.

Canceling an OnMyBooks subscription

  • Paid plans are available with monthly or annual billing. Cancel any time and you keep access until the end of the current billing period.
  • We do not charge a cancellation fee and there is no minimum term.
  • Downgrading takes effect at the next renewal so you do not lose paid time.

Subscription refunds

If you cancel within 14 days of a first paid subscription charge, email us and we will refund that charge in full. After that window, monthly charges already made are non-refundable, except where the service was unavailable for an extended period due to a fault on our side, or where local law requires a refund.

Request a refund through the contact page and we will respond within five business days.

Your data after cancellation

You can export your appointment records before you leave. After an account closes we delete or anonymise its data within 90 days, as described in the privacy policy.
